Tora! tells both the American and Japanese versions of the infamous attack that catapulted the United States into World War II. The film reveals mistakes made by both governments, which added to the confusion and culminated in the harrowing bombing of Hawaiis Pearl Harbor. Spectacular battle scenes earned the film an Oscar for best special effects.
